Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and any changes in health or behavior
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin with excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, hospice care, and disability support is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical aspects of caregiving with strength and compassion
- Experience with medication administration, meal preparation, and general caregiving duties required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and adherence to safety protocols
