We are looking for an applicant who can work all year round. Must be able to work independently. Must be at least 18 years of age.
We are looking for animal lovers eager to work in the veterinary field. Applicants must be reliable, responsible, fast and willing learners, good communicators, be comfortable with computers, and veterinary or other animal care experience is important. Job includes reception duties, so medical reception experience is a bonus.
Some duties include:
- Restraining animals during appointments
- Assisting before, during and after surgery
- Assisting taking x-rays
- Assisting during blood-draws
- Receptionist duties (answering the phone, booking appointments)
- Checking in appointments and getting patient information
Ideal applicants are passionate about animals and looking for a career in animal care. We prefer applicants to have their own vehicle.
Starting hourly pay is dependent on experience.
