Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled INTERIOR FINISH CARPENTER to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing detailed interior and exterior finishing work on residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a thorough understanding of various carpentry techniques.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks.
- Install cabinetry, moldings, trim, doors, windows, and other woodwork with attention to detail.
- Drywall installation, taping, mudding and sanding.
- Interior and exterior painting (prep, priming, cutting, finishing)
- Conduct restoration projects including surface preparation and finishing touches to preserve or enhance existing structures.
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes.
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields with a focus on finishing work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship quality.
- Reliable vehicle required.
- Some out of town travel will be required. Travel and accommodations are provided.
Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
