Safety First Contracting DBA AWP Safety is looking for a full time Office Coordinator to join our Western Nova Scotia Team. We are seeking an individual who has great people and communication skills, is self-motivated, organized, and can multitask. If you are also able to complete tasks with minimal supervision in an organized and timely manner and are great with a computer we encourage you to apply!
In order to function in this position a successful candidate must be able to meet the following criteria, to include:
- Provide proof of High School Diploma (University degree/post-secondary equivalent preferred);
- Drivers license with clean drivers abstract;
- Experience - onboarding, recruitment, payroll, and administrative functions;
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, and PowerPoint;
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to details;
- Excels at operating in a fast paced environment with a commitment to get the job done;
- Open to direction and constructive criticism;
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment; and
- Adept problem solving skills
How will your day be spent?
- Complete Administrative functions, answering phone calls, email, inquires etc.
- Scheduling crews for work
- Verifying information for billing and payroll processing
- Process time off requests and payroll inquiries
- Type/ prepare correspondence
- Photocopying and Scanning
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
