The Club is currently looking for seasonal full time Facilities Maintenance Technician (3 months' contract) for the Summer season. This role is responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and equipment around the Club and delivering high service standards for Activity related maintenance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds and turf, e.g. the Cricket field, Cricket Square, Croquet Swards, Lawn Bowling and Club exterior, including landscaping, walkways, and parking lots
- Maintain hard and clay tennis courts
- Ensure all equipment is well kept, maintained, and cleaned
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and removal of air supported bubbles
- Set up and take down of equipment elements required for various Activities like Cricket, Crocket, Tennis, etc.
- Monitor the pool and mechanical equipment as per the opening/closing checklist
Job Requirement
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar role required
- Experience with maintaining lawns and gardens including the use of the machinery and equipment
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner; heavy lifting is required
- Willing to work flexibly in morning (usually from 8 am - 4 pm) and afternoon shifts (usually 4 pm - 12 pm)
- Flexible to work variable shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
