Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Metal Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining metal roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Candidates with construction experience, carpentry skills, and handyman expertise are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Install new metal roofing panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Repair or replace damaged roofing sections to ensure durability and weather resistance
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and snips to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Perform caulking around seams and joints to prevent leaks
- Lift heavy materials safely, adhering to proper ergonomic practices
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed, including framing or general carpentry work
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety standards are followed during operations
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools used in roofing and construction work
- Prior experience in construction or roofing is preferred; carpentry or handyman experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights on rooftops
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or within a team
- Clean driving record ( Must be Insurable)
- Able to have variety in work as we do a lot of different projects.
- A-Z/ D-Z is a bonus.
- MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
