About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Handyman to support maintenance and repair tasks across various commercial retail locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in general repairs, light carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in retail environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
- Conduct inspections and report any major repair needs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Travel between retail locations as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Clean and valid driver’s license (required for travel between sites)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in commercial or retail settings
- Basic certifications in trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing) are a plus
