We are currently seeking Servers, Bartenders, and Banquet Service Staff to join our team. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Position Overview
As a Server/Bartender at The Ranchmen’s Club, you will provide exceptional service in our dining and banquet areas, helping create a welcoming and memorable experience for our members and their guests.
You will play an important role in delivering attentive, professional service while maintaining the high standards of hospitality associated with the Club.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and attentive service from arrival through departure.
- Learn and use member names and preferences whenever possible to provide personalized service.
- Review daily reservations, function sheets, and the Day Ahead Summary prior to service.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus and beverage offerings and confidently make recommendations.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Accurately enter orders into the Jonas POS system and process member accounts, event orders, and credit card transactions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and fellow service team members.
- Anticipate the needs of members and guests and provide proactive service.
- Assist with dining and banquet setup, service, resetting, and teardown.
- Ensure dining rooms and event spaces are clean, properly set, and ready before members and guests arrive.
- Polish and maintain cutlery, glassware, and service equipment as required.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe dining and service areas.
- Support fellow team members to ensure seamless service throughout the Club.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid ProServe certification is required.
- Previous experience in fine dining, bartending, or banquet service is preferred.
- Bartending experience is considered an asset.
- Personable, professional, and well-presented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible, reliable, self-directed, and motivated.
- Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a genuine focus on member and guest satisfaction.
- Flexible and willing to work additional hours during peak periods and accommodate special events or operational requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a high-end restaurant, private club, or banquet environment is preferred.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service.
- Willingness to continuously develop existing skills and learn new ones.
- Ability to uphold the traditions, professionalism, and service standards of The Ranchmen’s Club.
