We are seeking a Relief Pharmacist for an exciting long-term contract with a hospital pharmacy in British Columbia's Cariboo Region. Job Summary
Role: Relief Pharmacist

Contract Term: Until January 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Break: 30-minute unpaid break
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
System: Kroll
Compensation: Up to $75–$80/hr
Travel Support: Flights and accommodation provided
Responsibilities
Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
Support daily hospital pharmacy operations and workflow
Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards
Process and manage a range of medication requirements, including blister packs and OAT-related prescriptions
Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy support staff to maintain efficient workflow
Maintain accurate documentation using the Kroll system
Work Environment
Approximately 125–150 prescriptions per day
Limited OAT volume, approximately 2 Methadone prescriptions
Approximately 20 blister packs
Structured hospital pharmacy environment
Predictable weekday schedule
Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in British Columbia
Comfortable working with Kroll
Strong attention to detail and clinical judgement
Ability to work efficiently in a structured pharmacy environment
Experience with blister packaging and OAT workflows is an asset
Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with travel assignments
