General Manager — Peanut Butter Painting (Kelowna)
Peanut Butter Painting is a fast-growing residential painting company out of Chilliwack, and we're building out our Kelowna market. We're looking for a General Manager to own it — someone who can sell like a closer and run production like an operator.
This is not a desk job. You're the face of PBP in the Okanagan. You'll spend your mornings in homes running estimates and closing deals, and your afternoons making sure the work that's sold actually gets done right, on time, and on budget. You own the number, and you own the outcome.
What you'll do:
You'll drive sales — running estimates, following up on leads, and closing residential repaint work (interior, exterior, and cabinets). Revenue in Kelowna is yours to grow.
You'll manage production by scheduling and coordinating our subcontractor crews, making sure jobs are staffed, sequenced, and delivered to the PBP standard. You'll be the one holding quality and timelines accountable on every job.
You'll build the market — recruiting and vetting subs, managing client relationships from first handshake to final walkthrough, and representing the brand in a way that makes homeowners refer you.
You'll own the local P&L, keeping an eye on margins, job costing, and the health of the business you're running.
Who you are:
You've sold before and you're good at it — ideally in home services, trades, or another high-touch, in-home sales environment. You're organized enough to juggle a full schedule of estimates and active jobs without dropping balls. You know how to hold a crew accountable without being a jerk about it, and subcontractors respect you because you're fair, clear, and reliable. You're comfortable owning a number and doing what it takes to hit it.
Painting or trades experience is a strong asset. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
What we offer:
A base plus commission structure that rewards you for growing the market — your ceiling is what you make it. Real ownership of a territory with room to build a team under you as Kelowna scales. And a company that moves fast, invests in its people, and actually gives you the tools to win.
If you want to run your own show without the risk of starting from scratch, this is it.
