Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a high-level of accuracy & urgency in the Warehouse
- Prepare and move finished products – palletizing, shrink-wrapping, boxing, labelling
- Operate a Forklift & pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Follow Warehouse Policies & Procedures
- Follow Warehouse Health and Safety guidelines
- A variety of tasks will be required throughout the shift – including receiving, shipping, packing, cleaning, sorting
Receiving:
- physically unload boxes from shipping containers, palletize them and shrink wrap to a high-standard
- drive fork lifts and can help you get your license
- match and record the paperwork to the contents inside of container to ensure accuracy
Shipping:
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently
- Package finished product for shipping (wrap pallets, labelling, repack)
- Efficiently prepare outbound shipments in order to minimize truck dock time.
- Complete daily records as and when required.
- Coordinate with logistics team for BOL & other paperwork
Qualifications:
- Must be in good physical condition
- High School or equivalent experience and exceptional ability
- Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50lbs)
- Warehouse experience in high-volume, food-service, distribution or logistics or equivalent experience is an asset
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Great work ethic, high initiative, self-motivation and positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task, time management skills, detail-oriented
- Effective problem solving skills
