The Role
We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and charismatic International Tour Director to lead our flagship group tours. You will be the face of GoGo Tours on the ground, managing groups of up to 45 travelers across diverse international destinations including Africa (Morocco), South America, Europe, and Asia.
This is not just a guiding role; it is a leadership position that requires seamless logistics management, exceptional storytelling, and a "guest-first" mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Leadership: Lead and inspire groups of up to 45 travelers, ensuring a high-energy, cohesive, and positive group dynamic throughout the journey.
- Logistics Management: Oversee all on-the-ground operations, including hotel check-ins, local transportation, meals, and scheduled attractions.
- Cultural Interpretation: Deliver engaging commentary on the history, culture, and geography of destinations (e.g., Morocco, Peru, Japan) in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Safety & Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for any emergencies, flight delays, or medical issues, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
- Relationship Building: Act as a bridge between our travelers and local vendors, ensuring that the GoGo Tours standard of quality is met at every stop.
Requirements
- Language Mastery: Absolute fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin (written and verbal) is required to communicate with our core clientele. High proficiency in English is required for international logistics.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel internationally for 9 to 20 consecutive days per trip.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Tour Leader, Tour Director, or in a high-level hospitality management role.
- Knowledge: Prior experience or deep knowledge of international destinations (Morocco, South America, or Europe) is a significant asset.
- Documentation: Must have a valid passport and the ability to obtain visas for global travel.
