Job Details
The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Legal, Legislative & Records Services Department as a Mail/Messenger Clerk.
Reporting to the Manager of Records & Information, the successful candidate will support the provision of efficient, timely mail and messenger services to all City departments.
Qualifications

Completion of a High School Diploma combined with related office experience is required.

Detailed knowledge of the operation of postal equipment and an understanding of Canadian postal regulations is considered an asset.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently.

Experience in a municipal government setting and understanding of mail delivery requirements in different departments is an asset.

Knowledge of the layout of St. Albert in order to manage pickups/deliveries in an efficient manner is desirable.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
Hours of Work
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 am – 3:15 pm.
Compensation
-
The wage ranges from $22.87 - $27.32 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
