Overview
Alopex Couriers is looking for motivated and reliable Casual Warehouse Team Members to join our fast-paced operations. In this role, you’ll help ensure the smooth handling, movement, and storage of goods while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in wherever help is needed. You’ll be expected to assist with receiving, sorting, and shipping items, as well as keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Strong teamwork, communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are a must.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, sort, and complete freight for delivery or pickup
- Receive, unload, label, and store incoming freight in an organized manner
- Support daily package sorting during shifts (start times vary)
- Work as part of a team to process packages and orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist drivers and team members with loading vehicles for delivery
- Safely lift and move items, including operating dollies and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while optimizing storage space
- Complete required daily logs and documentation accurately
- Report discrepancies, damaged parcels, or incidents promptly to supervisors
- Follow all health and safety standards, participate in safety meetings, and support investigations when required
- Operate warehouse equipment responsibly and ensure proper care and maintenance
- Use warehouse technology and tools to support efficient operations
- Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality service standards
- Demonstrate familiarity with warehouse practices and contribute to continuous improvement

Job Requirements
- Independently lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Lift and carry heavier items up to 150 pounds using a two-person team
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven warehouse experience an asset
- Shift/Hours: Approximate start: 4:00 PM Duration: 4–5 hours per shift (depending on freight volume)

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $18.50 per hour
