We are seeking a friendly and responsible Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their stay at our daycare facility. Duties
- Supervise dogs during playtime and rest periods to ensure safety and proper behaviour
- Monitor dog interactions to prevent conflicts and promote positive socialization
- Assist with auditing, checklists, and head counts for the dogs in your care
- Clean and sanitize play areas and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Engage dogs in interactive activities to promote mental stimulation and physical exercise
- Observe dogs for signs of stress or health issues and report concerns promptly
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners when needed
- Passionate about animals with a caring attitude towards pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Excellent observational skills to monitor dog behaviour and identify potential issues
- Comfortable with loud noises
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents or concerns clearly and promptly
