Job Summary
The Santa Claus Parade is looking for a skilled sculptor and carpenter. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. You must be able to lay out templates, measure and precisely carve and sculpt large pieces of styrofoam. General carpentry skills are also an asset. Applicants must have the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Please submit portfolio/pictures to showcase your work with your resume.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Carve and assemble Styrofoam props and sculpts to prepare them for painting
● Work alongside other artists to help with general carpentry and production needs
● Clear, respectful communication with team members
● Maintain a clean workspace
Job Requirements
● Standing, bending, lifting. This is an active role
● An eye for detail and quality control
● Have the ability to adapt, independently analyze problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Be proficient in carving and working with styrofoam and other materials as needed
● Prior experience in trades or fabrication, use of general handheld power tools such as reciprocating saw, jigsaw, router, etc.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
