Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Worker to join our team at Kimberlee's Support Services. This role is essential in delivering high-quality home support care, assisting clients with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate team player who is eager to learn and grow in the caregiving field.
Registered care aide preferred or you must have relevant experience.
Will Train the right applicant for this position.
Responsibilities
Seeking experienced overnight Care Aide / HCA in Vernon BC for private home care.
Overnight night shifts caring for an elderly female client returning home from hospital care.
Duties include:
- Overnight supervision and safety support
- Assistance with mobility/transfers
- Toileting/incontinence support if required
- Light overnight caregiving duties
- Calm, compassionate presence
Experience with seniors, mobility support, dementia, or palliative care is an asset.
Must be reliable, comfortable working independently overnight, and preferably have HCA certification and references.
- Requirements
- Registered Health Care Aide is preferred.
- Must live within greater Vernon area.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, organized, and physically fit for the demands of the role.
- References and a criminal record check are required.
