Sussex Insurance – North Island (Inside Walmart) is a locally owned and managed insurance agency with an opening for a part-time position. We are open 7 days a week and applicants need to be available to work some statutory holidays, weekends and evenings.
We will consider offering "On the job" training, and provide the Level 1 Insurance License course for the "Right" Candidate. Preference to be given to an experienced insurance agent. Compensation dependent upon previous job experience.

Sussex Insurance (inside Walmart) Campbell River is hiring an Auto Insurance Agent that will work with both our dealership road service team and our office team.

What we’re looking for:
- 6+ months of previous Autoplan insurance experience.
- Motivated to achieve goals
- Experience in Customer Service
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Proficiency with technology and computer skills
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clientele with daily insurance needs in person, over the phone and email.
- Provide Dealership Road Service
- Provide insurance quotations and sell new policies.
- Staying up to date on product knowledge and industry changes.
- Make Renewal reminder calls to existing customer business.
- Fluid English, both written and verbal.
Shifts:
Must be available to work evenings and weekends and some Statutory Holidays. Our shifts are 10 hours per day, 3 days per week.
Pay: $20 to $25 per hour (dependent on experience) plus commissions and bonuses.
