Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Counter Balance Operator to join our Clean Plant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport, load, unload, and organize materials within a clean manufacturing or production environment. The Forklift Operator will ensure materials are handled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and cleanliness standards. specialize in handling raw materials and finished goods within sterile, highly sanitary, or strictly regulated environments
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Counter Balance and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
- Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished products as needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
- Ensure materials are stored properly and inventory locations are organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations, procedures, and clean plant protocols.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as required.
- Support production and warehouse teams to meet operational goals.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards where applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Counter Balance certification and experience operating forklifts.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills are an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) when required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment for extended periods.
shift: Monday - Friday - 9:00 am-5:30 pm
Pay: $20.00/HR
Location: Brandford, in person
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Counter Balance: 1 year (preferred)
