Job Description
This is an opportunity to express your leadership and command skills to lead a beautiful property in downtown Sarnia with a view of the St. Clair river. Responsibilities:

Promote and live the Mission, Vision and Core Values of S&R

Facilitate and promote resident choice and resident centered value within the community

Maintain standards in the community that are within our policies and standards

Oversee the daily operations of all resident services in the community
-
Leading team to excellence by having a clear vision of what needs to be accomplished

Responsible for hiring, performance management, discipline and termination of applicable team members
-
Maximize revenue and control expenses to budget
Behavioural Competencies:

Exhibit a highly developed ability to actively listen, negotiate and communicate goals; share knowledge, experience and responsibility when dealing with direct reports, employees and residents

Qualifications
Primary Requirements:
-
Proven experience and skills in creating brand awareness, engaging clients, and facilitating public education and awareness about the Retirement Home

Proven performance in general administration, sales and marketing
-
Understand and promote a “Hospitality” environment within the home
-
Excellent Leadership skills – To Lead, Inspire, Motivate and Drive established team
Qualifications:
-
Good administrative and team support skills needed
-
Previous experience in a Retirement or Residential Care or Hospitality setting essential
-
Prior management and “team lead” experience needed
-
A working knowledge of the marketplace and the needs of seniors
-
Previous experience in marketing, preferably in residential care
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Working knowledge or capacity to understand relevant legislation
-
Although not required, experience in care or being an RPN is helpful
