Qualifications:
Applicants must be....
- Able to work with little supervision,
- Able to handle physically strenuous activity, including lifting, shoveling, bending and standing
- Able to work outdoors in all types of conditions (extreme heat or cold),
- Able to comply with all local and provincial transportation regulations,
- Able to comply with all company policies,
- Able to communicate with customers and dispatchers,
- Able to navigate unfamiliar cities and roads with a map or GPS,
- Able to work on call rotations that include nights and weekends,
- Able to handle stressful situations while working alone,
- Able to write invoices, calculate applicable taxes and handle payments
- Able to spend occasional days/nights out of town in hotels
Applicants must have...
- Transportation to and from work
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Tow Certificate
Functions:
To provide roadside assistance service, towing, and recovery of light and medium vehicles. To load, secure and deliver parts and equipment locally and out of town. Shift work and weekend work involved. Experience in the trucking industry is an asset, but not required. We will provide a comprehensive training program.
