Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care and ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures. Experience with dental software Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, Implants, Ce-rec scanner and I-Tero is required. A background in dental assisting and CAD is a must for candidates looking to expand their expertise.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic, Endo , Implants and pediatric treatments
- Taking dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Dentrix software systems
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote infection control standards
- Support the team in implementing treatment plans and follow-up care instructions
Qualifications
- Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with dental software in Dentrix is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is highly desirable
- Experience working as a Dental Assistant is a must.
- Familiarity with CAD for digital imaging or design is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care excellence
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
