Goodfellow is seeking a procurement specialist who will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, analyzing reports to determine what orders to place, ensuring that orders are tracked with suppliers, and optimizing procurement parameters to maintain an adequate service level and healthy inventory turnover.

Main Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Floor Purchasing Manager, the Procurement Specialist ensures that flooring inventory levels are sufficient for the entire company.
- Enter orders into the Epicor procurement system;
- Track sold and unsold products; here I would say track slow moving stock and backorders
- Track and verify orders;
- Participate in the integration of new product lines;
- Plan and place product orders based on needs and check inventory levels daily;
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, keep procurement-related data up to date, and perform necessary follow-ups;
- Conduct inter-warehouse restocking;
- Notify internal customers of supplier delivery delays;
- Design, update, and produce relevant periodic operational reports and metrics;
- Propose, improve, and implement procurement strategies to reduce shortages;
- Develop healthy and productive relationships with internal and external partners;
- Ability to analyze forecast/historical sales
- And all other related tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess strong mathematical reasoning and a well-developed analytical mind;
- Excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written, as well as English
- Ability to make decisions quickly;
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Ability to provide excellent internal customer service

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; especially Excel

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
