Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for processing orders and payments.
- Prepare drinks and serve food items according to established food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including dining spaces and restroom areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Having a smart serve for serving an alcoholic beverages required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculations.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
