About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized yard while assisting with the loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the yard clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely.
- Support drivers, operators, and staff as needed.
- Perform general labour duties as assigned.
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Enforce compliance with HSE and all safety protocols and procedures
- Adhere to quality procedures and policies in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be safety-oriented and a reliable team player
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous labour, construction, warehouse, or yard experience is considered an asset.
