As the Regional Planner, you will have the opportunity to support transformative change for Fraser Salish First Nations, in alignment with the FNHA Values and Directives. Regional Planning roles work directly with Fraser Salish First Nations to advance their health and wellness goals, and ensure community-level priorities are reflected within regional plans and strategies.
Title: Regional Planner
Salary: $76,530 - $95,662- $105,229 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Regular, 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Across the three Fraser Salish Regional Offices ( Sto:lo, Matsqui, and Surrey) - Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).
About the role
As Regional Planner, you will model cultural safety and humility in all interactions, partnerships, and planning initiatives. Also, centering Fraser Salish First Nations cultural teachings and practice as the foundation to uphold culturally safe and relevant approaches to the planning work and organizational programs and services.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have-
Education & Experience:

Relevant university degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Recent, relevant experience in strategic, operational, or community planning (typically 4–6 years), preferably within health, public sector, or First Nations contexts
Knowledge:

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
