The Auto Body Prepper prepares surfaces for the automotive painter and applies the appropriate Refinishing techniques to ensure a seamless paint finish.
Major Areas of Responsibilities:
- Masking vehicles prior to and following the paint process
- Assist in surface element removal on panels, parts, etc.
- Applies body filler and primer
- Ability to surface prep various parts/panels for paint
- Ability to work on plastic parts
- Ability to review repair orders and perform the job as efficiently as possible
- Ability and willingness to follow standardized production processes
- Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related body shop experience
