Job Summary
The Warehouse Shipper and Receiver handle daily incoming and outgoing shipments. He/she is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory handling and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, barcode, and document any discrepancies.
- Prepare, pack and label outbound shipments according to customer requirements and transportation regulations.
- Ensure all shipments meet quality and safety compliance standards.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment.
- High-Reach Experience: Proven experience operating high-lift reach forklifts in a high-bay environment. Must be comfortable when picking and putting away pallets at heights of up to 40 feet.
Inventory Management & Warehouse operations
- Store products according to WHIMS and hazardous materials handling regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and report stock damages and discrepancies
- Follow packing list / lot inventory control methods – bar coding system
- Assist in warehouse organization and cleanliness to meet company and regulatory
- standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with WHIMS, TDG, OSHA and workplace safety regulations Handle hazardous materials and all other according to company policies and government regulations.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures
- Report any safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or incidents immediately.
Equipment Operations & Maintenance
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cage, docks, scissor lift and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors, director of operations, inventory managers
- customer service, and Freight and other teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment, handling, storage and receiving.
- Participate in meeting to align warehouse operations with business goals
- Maintain proper documentations of shipments, including bills of lading, packing slips, certificates of analysis, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving or warehouse operations (preferably in chemical distribution)
- Knowledge of WHIMS, TDG, GMP is an asset
- Forklift certification
- Ability to lift 23 kg and work in and industrial warehouse environment.
- Basic writing, reading and computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chemical distribution, logistics or manufacturing
- Certification in supply chain, logistics or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS inventory systems.
Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
