Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Front End Loader Operator to join our heavy equipment team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating loaders and other heavy machinery, with a strong understanding of construction site safety and equipment maintenance. This role offers the opportunity for advancements within our company. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working in dynamic construction environments.
Duties
- Operate front end loaders efficiently to move materials such as aggregates and concrete rubble.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
- Assist with yard tasks such as site cleanup, lego block assembly and disassembly, yard grading, plant clean up, and unloading of products used for concrete production.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely deliveries of aggregates.
- Support other construction activities requiring mechanical knowledge or operation of specialized machinery.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation and construction site procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating front end loaders.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction experience with familiarity in concrete operations and yard maintenance.
- Ability to operate specialized machinery including caterpillar equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation on construction sites.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
This position requires a dedicated professional with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship in all aspects of heavy equipment operation.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
