Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various clinical settings. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional nursing services across diverse patient populations. The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care, managing pain, and supporting case management initiatives.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care in facility
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and safety protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess health status using medical terminology and clinical skills
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with laboratory procedures including phlebotomy and specimen collection when necessary
- Support pain management strategies and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management and discharge planning
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medication use, and post-discharge care
- Work with special populations
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid license in Saskatchewan
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Heart and Stroke CPR, PALS, and ACLS
- Lead 2 Interpretation
- CTAS
- Will also need to complete PART, TLR, WHMIS during onboarding (if not previously completed for SHA).
- ICRA Comprehensive will also be required during the onboarding process.
- Experience
- Prior hospital experience preferred, especially in acute care, emergency, and ICU department
- Experience working with children or in pediatric nursing is a plus
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and medical terminology is advantageous
- Proven ability to handle medication administration, laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy, and patient documentation
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and case management processes

Pay: $80.00-$86.00 per hour
