What You’ll Earn
- $59.45 per hour - unionized
- Double-time overtime pay or bank it for additional vacation — your choice
- Company pension plan + extended health benefits paid by the employer
- Day/afternoon shift rotation = 2 out of every 3 weekends off
What You’ll Work On
No two days are the same. You'll maintain and repair a wide variety of heavy mining equipment and rail assets, both in the shop and out in the field.
Equipment includes:
- CAT 777 haul trucks
- Dozers, loaders, wheel tractors, and backhoes
- 90-yard draglines
- Hydraulic and air-operated systems
- Rail locomotives and related equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate a must
- Mining equipment experience preferred
- Valid 3A driver's endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass drug, alcohol, medical, and fitness testing
