Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Gravel Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting gravel and other materials to various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and vehicle maintenance, grease truck weekly
Duties
- Operate gravel trucks accordance with safety standards and traffic laws
- Transport gravel, sand, and other construction materials to designated locations efficiently and safely
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklift or other machinery when necessary
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and documentation of materials transported
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper securing of loads and adherence to OSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating freight trucks, heavy equipment, or similar vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to perform basic automotive repair and routine maintenance on trucks
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Physical ability to load, unload, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks as required
- Prior experience in freight hauling or construction industry is advantageous
- Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety standards

Pay: $20.00-$20.25 per hour
