Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in caring for clients with high needs. This role involves delivering exceptional, personalized care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in their own homes.
We require an experienced PSW for a young man with main diagnosis is Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy. Experience with G Tube Feeds, Deep Suctioning, comfortable with Seizure Precautions, Wound Care, Lift Transfers, and Blood Sugar Management.
Training will be provided for gentleman's' specific care needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care: including assistance with personal care, dressing and showering; Positioning Client in bed.
- G tube feeds, Deep Suctioning, must be comfortable with Seizure Precautions and Wound Care, Lift Transfers, Blood Sugar Management.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare plans
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with needs through compassionate caregiving
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Use proper lifting techniques and assist with heavy lifting to ensure safety for both client and caregiver requirements
- Proven experience as a PSW or caregiver, particularly with high-needs clients in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings
- Knowledge of patient care procedures, medication administration, and safety protocols
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia, or hospice care is highly preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Team Work
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is mandatory; relevant caregiving certifications are preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
