Schedule
REQUIRED SHIFTS:
Thursdays 9:45 am to 3:45 pm
Fridays 9:45 am to 3:45 pm
Saturdays 8:45 am to 3:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Able to work independently to manage and operate our coffee bar
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are upheld
- During slow hours, helping staff on the retail side of the store with cleaning, labeling, unboxing and processing transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred, but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Punctuality and strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as serving and food preparation.
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
