Buddy’s Place is a group of licensed, independent Cannabis Retail stores budding from the Kootenays of BC.
We are accepting applications for a Budtender position at our Nelson location . The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, an interest in Cannabis, and be available Weekends and Evenings until 9pm. Budtending experience is preferred.
The position is for ~2 days per week to start, advancing to full-time in August.
Our objective is to be the Kootenay’s destination for Cannabis culture, and Nelson’s friendly local pot-shop. We are seeking retail staff who can deliver excellent service to our loyal clientele.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum 19+ years of age
-Valid Selling It Right certification
-Thrive in a high volume, high level of care retail environment
-Adherence to Provincial & Federal Cannabis regulations
-Passion for Cannabis culture, and desire to be a part of the industry
-Trustworthy
-Friendly attitude & ability to work as a team
-Available to work a variety of shifts, including Evenings and Weekends
-Seeking long-term oriented candidates
-Have residency in Nelson or the surrounding area.
Job duties:
-Assist customers in selecting suitable Cannabis products, and make helpful recommendations.
-Contribute to a pleasant and organized environment;
-Operate POS System, Retail software, Ipad, conduct cash transactions.
-Stay up-to-date on on industry knowledge & regulations
-Other duties as required.
