We are currently seeking a highly organized and people-focused People & Culture Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the P&C Coordinator supports the day-to-day human resources and administrative functions of the organization. This role plays a key part in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and fostering a positive employee experience across the company.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, confidential, and passionate about supporting employees and company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication; proven track record of full-cycle recruitment would be an asset
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Maintain employee files and HR records with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist with employee relations, policy administration, and workplace communication
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR documentation
- Prepare employment letters, reports, forms, and internal communications
- Assist with training coordination and employee engagement initiatives
- Monitor and update HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
- Support managers with administrative and people-related matters
- Assist with performance review tracking and employee development initiatives
- Maintain Indeed and other recruitment platform postings as required
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 2–5 years of HR, People & Culture, and administrative experience
- Knowledge of Inter-provincial Employment Standards legislations (Alberta, BC, Ontario) and HR best practices is an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
- Experience with UKG Ready (HR & Payroll) is considered an asset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
