Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food preparation.
- Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage cash handling, POS systems (including Micros POS), and daily financial transactions accurately.
- Coordinate food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain consistency and quality.
- Lead customer service efforts to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in team management activities.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Implement hospitality standards that promote a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food presentation, menu updates, and special event planning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, food safety, and food handling procedures.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills required.
- Supervising experience with demonstrated team management capabilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Ability to oversee food industry operations including serving, barista experience, hotel experience preferred.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food industry standards, and restaurant management best practices.
- Strong communication skills for interviewing staff and interacting with guests.
