Job Overview:
As an EB Trenchless Vac Truck Driver you will ensure the safe operation of the truck and utilize the equipment to remove debris, soils, sludge, and other materials from our sites. You will be required to be onsite and assist others to ensure operations run smoothly and follow all safety protocols when utilizing the truck and its equipment. You will work in collaboration with others in maintaining equipment in good working order and openly communicate with the team to coordinate work activities.
Reporting Structure
Reporting to: Foreman & General Superintedent
Location: Burlington
Responsibilities
· Safely operate and drive a vacuum truck.
· Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials from various locations.
· Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for operation.
· Coordinate routes to maximize fuel and minimize downtime.
· Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights and breaks, etc.
· Plan your trip according to the weather conditions.
· Follow safety procedures for transporting materials.
· Maintain Logbooks according to rules and regulations.
· Additional duties may be required.
Qualifications
· DZ License. AZ license is an asset.
· 3 - 5 years vac truck experience.
· Operate a manual transmission truck.
· Clean drivers abstract, and clean criminal search
· Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
· Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
· Good communication skills

IUOE 793 $48.27/Hr
LIUNA 183 $46.82/Hr
