Job Summary: Rodd Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to support sales across our portfolio of seven properties.
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing hotel sales market, with a focus on generating new businesses, strengthening existing client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The Sales Manager will identify sales opportunities, monitor market activity, and work collaboratively with hotel teams to achieve revenue goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across all Rodd properties
- Prospect and secure new business through calls, emails, client meetings, presentations, site visits, and networking
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities for additional businesses
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, local developments, and emerging opportunities for additional businesses
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate properties, services, and solutions
- Prepare proposals, contracts, presentations, and client correspondence with support from Sales Coordinators
- Ensure accurate and timely booking information is communicated to properties and operational teams
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process and work property teams to ensure client needs are met
- Represent Rodd Hotels & Resorts at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities and community events
- Promote company Marketing initiatives, incentives, packages, and loyalty programs
- Maintain accurate account and sales activity information in Salesforce
- Participate in Sales and property meetings, providing updates on sales activities, opportunities, and market developments
- Work collaboratively with General Managers, Revenue Manager, and other Sales team members to achieve revenue goals and hotel budgets
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years of hotel sales experience; an established network of industry contacts is considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is considered an asset
- Proven ability to develop new business, manage accounts, and achieve sales targets
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Maestro are considered an asset
- Confident negotiation and closing skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong ability to build effective working relationships with hotel leaders and team members across multiple properties
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Positive and professional attitude to identify creative sales opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Must hold a valid driver license and be flexible to travel for work
This is a 1-year maternity leave coverage contract with the possibility to extend at the end of the contract, subject to operational needs.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
