Role Overview
We are hiring a full-time SEO & Content Marketing Specialist to support SightSage’s organic growth strategy.
This role focuses on increasing website traffic, improving search visibility, and creating educational content that builds brand authority and supports product sales.
The ideal candidate understands both technical SEO and content marketing and can translate health and wellness topics into engaging, search-optimized content.
This position is based in Richmond, BC. Candidates must be able to commute reliably.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for organic growth
- Optimize on-page SEO including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking
- Monitor technical SEO issues and work with developers to improve site performance
Content Marketing
- Create educational blog articles related to eye health, metabolism, and hair wellness
- Develop SEO-focused content that aligns with consumer search behavior
- Ensure content supports SightSage product categories including SightC, Superfood Wellness Blend, and Hair Pro
Content Planning
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches
- Identify trending health topics and translate them into valuable educational content
Performance Monitoring
- Track SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and content performance
Collaboration
- Work with marketing and design teams to create engaging visual and written content
- Support website updates and landing page optimization
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO or content marketing
- Experience optimizing websites for search engines
- Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex health topics
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
- Understanding of Shopify or e-commerce websites is preferred

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $3,500 per month
- Two weeks of paid vacation per year
