Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
This role supports a large-scale data center project, focusing on commercial new construction electrical work. You will install, wire, and maintain electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on conduit installation, cable management, and accurate interpretation of blueprints in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities

Install, run, and secure electrical conduit in a commercial new construction environment, ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards.

Perform precise conduit and pipe bending to accommodate complex layouts and equipment requirements within the data center.

Pull, route, and organize electrical cables and wires, maintaining clean and efficient cable management throughout the facility.

Install, terminate, and test electrical wiring and low-voltage systems as required for data center operations.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical plans to determine material requirements, routing paths, and installation methods.

Assist in the installation of electrical equipment, fixtures, and related components in accordance with applicable codes and project guidelines.

Collaborate with other trades and team members on-site to coordinate work and maintain project timelines.

Follow all safety procedures and site regulations, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.

Work overtime as needed to meet project milestones and support critical construction phases.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage and handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
Essential Skills

Proven experience running conduit in a commercial construction environment.

Proficiency in bending conduit and pipe using appropriate tools and methods.

Hands-on experience in commercial construction, particularly new construction projects.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings accurately.

Strong skills in electrical wiring installation, including routing, securing, and terminating wires.

Experience with low-voltage systems and related installations.

Capability to perform cable pulling and cable management in large-scale projects.

Knowledge of electrical safety practices and adherence to site safety protocols.

Eligibility to work as an electrical apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year) or as a journeyperson electrician, as applicable to your experience level.

Work Environment
This position is based on-site at a data center construction project. You will work in an active commercial construction environment that includes indoor and partially enclosed areas, with exposure to typical construction conditions such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The role involves day and night shifts, with a premium for night work and the expectation of overtime during peak phases of the project. You will use standard electrical tools and equipment, including conduit benders, cable pulling tools, and wiring instruments, while adhering to site safety requirements and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
