We are seeking an experienced Director of Early Years Programs to lead our Early Learning and Child Care Centre, other early years programming, and help create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff.
About the Role
As our Director of Early Years Programs, you will oversee the daily operations of our Early Years and Child Care Centre, other early years programs to ensure compliance with licensing requirements, support and mentor staff, and foster positive relationships with families and the community.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the Child Care Centre.
· Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff.
· Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
· Develop and maintain high-quality educational programs.
· Build strong partnerships with families and the community.
· Manage enrollment, budgets, and administrative responsibilities.
· Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
· Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
· Previous leadership or management experience in a childcare setting.
· Strong knowledge of Alberta’s Early Learning and Childcare Act, regulations, and best practices.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
· Background check and other required clearances.
