Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to provide exceptional care and assistance to an adult with a brain injury. You will work closely with the client to deliver personalized care that enhances quality of life.
Duties
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Assist with grocery shopping, medication pickup and other outings to stimulate the brain. Vehicle required
- Stand by shower assist.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home care environments is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities requiring specialized care.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices, medication protocols, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
- Valid certification in care giving or relevant health-related training is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is appreciated.
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a positive attitude toward care giving responsibilities.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
