Shelby's Legendary Shawarma is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused team members to join our vibrant team at our location. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Assist customers with product demos and explain menu items to enhance their experience
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and service areas
- Manage retail sales of merchandise or packaged products as needed
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Assist with front desk duties, including answering questions and providing information about the restaurant
Requirements
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages spoken by the community
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly attitude with a genuine desire to provide excellent customer experiences
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if needed
