Lead Cleaner / Supervisor
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Cleaner / Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations throughout the Barrie area.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in commercial and custodial cleaning, previous leadership or supervisory experience, and a strong commitment to quality and customer service. This role is responsible for leading by example, maintaining exceptional cleaning standards, training and mentoring new employees, conducting site inspections, and ensuring all accounts consistently meet company expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial cleaning duties while leading by example.
- Train, coach, and support new cleaning staff.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of client accounts.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate daily schedules and provide support to cleaning teams as needed.
- Identify and resolve cleaning or staffing issues proactively.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients and management.
- Complete reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial cleaning and custodial experience.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience mandatory.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
