About Jack O' Clubs Pub
Since 2016, Jack O' Clubs Pub has been a culinary, social and entertainment hub in Wells, known for great food, inventive drinks and warm service. We are expanding our operation and elevating the menu and guest experience.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a dependable Line Cook / Prep Cook who brings consistency, energy and pride to the kitchen. Experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn matter just as much.
What You Will Do
· Prepare and cook menu items accurately, consistently and on time.
· Complete prep work including chopping, slicing, portioning, sauces and ingredient organization.
· Set up stations before service and maintain an organized mise en place throughout the shift.
· Work closely with cooks, servers and managers to keep service moving during peak periods.
· Follow food-safety, sanitation, allergen and safe-handling procedures.
· Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and assist with receiving, storage, inventory and stock rotation.
· Support the training of new team members and contribute ideas that improve the kitchen.
What You Bring
· Professional kitchen or food-service experience is preferred; motivated learners are welcome to apply.
· Strong organization, urgency and attention to detail.
· A calm, team-first approach in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene; FoodSafe, SafeCheck or equivalent is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
· Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
· A genuine interest in cooking, hospitality and community life.
Compensation and Benefits
· $22-$27 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill.
· Staff housing included with the position; occupancy details are reviewed at the offer stage.
