Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanic Helper to join our maintenance team. Duties
- Assist licensed mechanics with routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic disassembly, assembly, and troubleshooting
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues by inspecting components and systems
- Help with the cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities
- Learn to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics under supervision
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in developing technical skills
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a team environment
- We are looking for someone with hands-on experience servicing and repairing small engines.
