Duties:
- Manage all incoming and outgoing parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, inventory counts, and reporting inventory discrepancies.
- Source and locate parts from external suppliers when inventory is unavailable.
- Process customer, technician, and service department parts orders in person, by phone, and electronically.
- Ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and documentation for all parts transactions.
- Identify the correct replacement parts using electronic catalogues, parts manuals, vehicle specifications, and customer information.
- Provide knowledgeable customer service by explaining product features, warranties, and suitable replacement or alternative parts.
- Inspect returned parts, process exchanges and refunds, and coordinate warranty and manufacturer returns.
- Prepare, package, and ship parts to manufacturers and other locations while maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe parts department in accordance with company standards, loss prevention procedures, and Health & Safety policies.
- Merchandise and organize inventory, including stocking shelves, labeling products, and maintaining displays.
- Assist with emergency parts deliveries using a company vehicle when required.
Requirements:
- Previous Parts Department experience
- Working knowledge of CDK (Formally ADP) software
- Proven attendance and punctuality track record
- Solid work ethic
- Self-motivation
