D&E Structures Ltd, is currently looking to hire a Cladding/Siding Foreman to join our growing team in Calgary. Our Ideal candidate will be reliable and responsible people who can work efficiently in a team atmosphere, using their knowledge and skills to achieve the task at hand. A safe professional mentality and solid work ethic are important to our company culture. As a Cladding Foreman, you’ll be an essential part of our operations.

Job Description:
- Attend work site on time
- Work in a team and be positive
- Supervise a team of 3 -5 people
- Have own hand tools
- Understand the logistics of multiple building envelopes scope of work
- Work at heights
- Be able to take precise measurements, metric and imperial reading
- Use electrical tools (Shear, nibbler, skill saw, jigg, shop saw, table saw, mitre saw, etc.)
- Read drawings, detail, elevations, specs
Requirements:
- Lead and supervise the cladding installation team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide installation processes.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking, scheduling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets design specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Manage daily safety meetings, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Monitor project progress against schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks; report on status regularly.
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting activities as needed.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to field crews; resolve on-site issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Extensive construction experience with a focus on cladding systems or exterior building envelope work.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to construction projects.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
