We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Provide attentive caregiving to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children with diverse needs, including working with individuals with disabilities to ensure accessible learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's individual growth plan
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations and best practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education methods
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Prior classroom experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
- Strong teaching skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood development
- Certification or training in early childhood education is a plus but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners
- A genuine passion for nurturing young children's growth and learning
Pay: $25.61-$31.07 per hour
